Since 1997, Gilmer, Texas-based Goudarzi & Young, L.L.P. has represented more than 9,000 people in North East Texas.

Our founder, attorney Brent Goudarzi, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University. Beginning in 2011, he has served as president of the East Texas Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Goudarzi has been honored as a 2012 Texas Super Lawyer and a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyer.

Further, Mr. Goudarzi is a Fellowship Member and Director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, a member of the American Association for Justice, the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Honorable T. John Ward American Inn of Court and the Upshur County Bar Association.

Mr. Goudarzi is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas.

Other attorneys serving at the firm include Marty L. Young, Kristina Pierce Joseph and Geoffrey Hoover.

Partner Marty Young earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the Upshur County Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association and East Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Young is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas.
